Hate Crime Reporting

Whatever your background, it is important to remember that if you are the victim of hostility or prejudice, you are not to blame. Everyone has the right to live their life free from abuse and violence whoever they are. You don’t have to live with hate crime and we are here to help.

If you experience any incident, or you know someone who is, that you believe to be motivated by your/their (or a family members) race or ethnicity, religion or belief, disability, gender, sexuality or transgender identity then please talk to us in confidence.

SCAFT is an independent Hate Incident Reporting Centre. We can then support you through reporting the incident to the police if you wish. Even if you don’t want to take the matter further it is still important that an incident is recorded anonymously to allow the police to target their resources.
