SCAFT’s services are currently being delivered as usual, with appropriate infection control measures; and we always remember that Covid is still circulating even if it’s not as visible as it was. All our staff and volunteers are fully vaccinated. Those with concerns regarding vulnerability are still welcome to attend our services using a mask or other face covering if they wish, and to request that staff also wear a mask in close face-to-face interactions for peace of mind.
For everyone’s health and wellbeing service users are asked not to attend groups or appointments if they have tested positive for Covid, are displaying symptoms, or have symptoms of any other transmittable illness. Our staff and volunteers have contact with many medically vulnerable people, where carrying infections between households could potentially have very serious consequences.
Our precautions are constantly reviewed taking into account the current situation, official advice and data, please check this page regularly for updates or changes.
