Adult Carers

Caring is motivated by love and compassion and can be rewarding and fulfilling but emotional and physical demands on you can be draining and stressful. Every Carer faces an individual situation. You may be experiencing anger, depression, exhaustion, fear, guilt, isolation or even resentment

Your role is a valuable one – it is priceless, especially to those you care for. Your wellbeing therefore is paramount and taking time out for yourself can enable you to cope with the often rollercoaster road of caring.

“You are not alone”

How can the project help?

Carers café - A warm welcome awaits you at the Cafés. At every café we try to have a speaker or an activity which you can take part in if you wish, or you can just come along and enjoy a cuppa in a relaxed informal setting. The meetings provide Carers with a break from caring and provides the opportunity to meet other Carers and hopefully make new friends. meeting button
Carers activities – Keep an eye out for details of our Carers activities on our website. These activities include arts and crafts, learning new skills, trips out such as lunch and afternoon tea.
